ATLFavs is operated by Marketing AX LLC d/b/a ATLFavs, Atlanta, Georgia ("ATLFavs", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect on atlfavs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, and optional mobile phone number when you subscribe, nominate a venue, claim a business listing, or enter a giveaway; plus anything you include in a form message.
- Usage information: standard analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, collected via Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics. We do not sell this data.
- Local storage: the site stores small amounts of data in your browser (for example, your heart votes and saved favorites). This stays on your device.
2. How we use it
- To run the site and its features (nominations, favorites, listings).
- To administer giveaways: confirming entries, drawing and notifying winners, and announcing winners by first name and last initial as described in the giveaway's Official Rules.
- To send marketing email or text messages ONLY if you separately opted in to each. Opting in is never a condition of entering a giveaway.
- To respond when a business claims a listing or requests a feature.
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in to texts, you will receive recurring marketing and giveaway messages from ATLFavs. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of giveaway entry.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages.
4. Who we share with
- Service providers that run the plumbing on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel), our customer relationship platform (which stores form submissions and messaging preferences), email and SMS delivery providers, and analytics (Google). They may only use your information to provide those services to us.
- Featured venues: if you win a giveaway prize, we may share your first name and contact information with that day's venue solely to coordinate prize pickup or redemption.
- Legal: if required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing email via the link in any email.
- Stop texts by replying STOP to any message.
- Request access to or deletion of your information by emailing preston@marketingax.com. We will act on verified requests within a reasonable time.
6. Retention and security
We keep contact information while you remain subscribed or while it is needed for the purposes above (including keeping giveaway records for a reasonable period after a giveaway ends), then delete or anonymize it. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission is 100% secure.
7. Age
The site is not directed to children under 13, and our giveaways are limited to entrants 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes and contact
